The Lunchbox:Ham and Swiss

Hello everyone! I decided that every once and awhile I would do a post called The Lunchbox. Just a couple recipes and ideas for lunches or snacks. It probably wont always be for lunch, but sometimes for supper or breakfast. It just depends on how creative I get with meals:)
Anyway, for yesterday's lunch I had a grilled ham and Swiss on wheat bread,a cup of leftover taco soup, and a glass of pink lemonade. The taco soup(I give my mom the credit for this one) is one of the best soups I've ever had! Sometimes mom makes it with pasta or beef, but this time it was just veggies and we LOVED it! Top it with sour cream and cheese and that makes it even better!
Here's the recipe:
Ingredients - 1 can pinto beans, 2 cans black beans, 1 can corn, 1 can diced tomatoes with or without green chilies (depends on your preference), one pack of taco seasoning, and if you like meat, use 1 pound of ground meat.
To Prepare: Drain all canned foods except for tomatoes and add to a soup pot. If adding meat, brown the meat in a saucepan, drain grease, and add taco seasoning. If not using meat, simply add the taco seasoning to the vegetables, and add water to make a soup consistency. Heat till boiling, then turn down the heat and let it simmer until ready to eat. Put the soup in a bowl, and add shredded cheddar cheese, and a scoop of sour cream - So Good! This soup is really good with tortillas or corn bread.

Pink lemonade is one of the best treats for me in the spring and summer!

I was going to save this for another post, but I was too excited. I wanted to show you my new camera! Its not digital, but that ok. It takes 35mm film. I got at Salvation Army for 55$! They had it marked 250$ and they didn't sell it at that price, so they marked it WAY down.

I guess you saw it's a Nikon!
P.S.-I have an ice pack on my leg because my brother and friend graced me with two goose eggs in soccer. O well....
P.P.S.-Did you know that dogs love Swiss cheese?? At least mine does!
