The Lunchbox:Chicken and Biscuits

Hello everyone! I had the opportunity to cook supper for my family Monday night. We had mac-and-cheese and something called Chicken and Biscuits. This is a super easy, super good recipe!

Look at those golden brown, soft, chewy biscuits filled with chicken and gravy.....I'll give you a second to wipe the drool from your mouth....and now for the recipe.

You will need:
1 stick of butter
Chicken breast( the amount depends on how many you are cooking for)
1/2c. flour
1 can(14oz.) chicken broth
salt and pepper
milk
1 or 2 cans of Pillsbury Grands biscuits

Directions:
-Place cut chicken in a 9x13 pan
-Combine butter, salt, pepper, and broth in a sauce pan.
-When melted and hot add flour and whisk until smooth.
-If sauce seems thick add milk( or more broth) a little at a time to thin it out.
-Pour sauce over chicken.
-Top chicken with biscuits.
-Bake according to the biscuits directions. When the biscuits are done, then it's ready!
Enjoy!!!
Emily
