Update:What I've been up to...a.k.a....Why I haven't been blogging!

Hey there friends

So, life has been pretty eventful here lately! First it was work and school. Last week my family went on our fall vacation to the coast. We had fun,(despite the fact it rained the first two days.) I intended to blog while I was there,but decided not to. I know,I'm a slacker.;)

 I finished my first class for school last week as well. I had the final exam,which I passed! Woohoo! 

Now it is back to work! It is going to be pretty busy on up until after Christmas. Welcome to retail:/

Also, I finally got Photo shop Elements! It was recommended by my online teacher. She said that it was the best to start off with. As I get more business,(and more money!) I will invest in the full version of Photo shop. 

I haven't posted these yet,but I took pictures for my Aunt's marriage ceremony a couple weeks ago.(above^)

Her and my Uncle got married at the Justice of the Peace in the mountains. I brought my camera along. Of course they wanted pictures from their big day! They are having a reception/shower on November 9th. They have asked me to do pictures there as well! I'm excited too! I will get these up as soon as I can!

Right now,I have a few ideas in the works for an Etsy shop! It will not be up until January,but I promise there will be plenty of warning! I'm really excited about the ideas though! I wont be announcing what will be in my shop yet! I wont be releasing that until December.:)

 Scheduling my month in the planner! My mom tells me maybe I am a planner at heart,(ahem,I can't tell.) Goal #1-Get organized!

 I was playing around with a new app.It has all kinds of filters,doodles,borders,and words to use on your photos. Super cute!

 We have been marking down candy at work,so I couldn't resist buying a bag of peanut M&M's! They had a new color combo. Such pretty colors!

Excitement and a new name!

Hi Lovelies!
I just wanted to share some exciting news! I start my photography classes August 19th(as long as it doesn't fall through.) Anyways, I have a family photography session to do on August 17th and I am so stoked about it! I also have a friend who wants me to take her senior pictures next year! It's really exciting for me! I am also trying to figure out a name for my business. I need to watermark my photos. Priddy Pictures Photography was the name I was using to watermark,but if I ever get married my name will change. I thought I had finally found a nice name,but I started getting wishy washy about it. I'm still trying to brainstorm. I am open to suggestions! So that is what is happening in my corner of the world! I will be at camp next week in Kentucky,so I will be taking a mini break from blogging. I am planning to try to post tomorrow though!

Life Lately

I thought I would give a little update on what I have been up to lately through some Instagram pictures! 

Anyone else been up to your ears in rain lately? My rain boots have been serving their purpose well!

 We found a baby Mocking Bird in our yard Saturday! We were afraid it was abandoned,but the mama did eventually come back to feed it. She does a much better job than we could anyway!

 I have recently started a new position at work(which involves getting up at 4:55 am) Me,being NOT a morning person, enjoyed this lovely sky before heading in. God's artwork!

 Star scarf:))))))) Made me so happy to find it! I was even happier because it was only a dollar!

 We recently got six new hens. Oh how I want a farm!

 My hair is getting kinda,sorta long. :D

 Guess who is now in our freezer???

 I know I haven't done an outfit post in FOREVER,but I want you all to know that I do wear something more than my work uniform and sweats;)

 This was the highlight of my summer so far! Kayaking with my Daddy. We went down the river and had so much fun!

Instafriday

HI! So I found my mom on the computer today and she was looking at a blog. Then I realized....THIS IS FRIDAY! So of course it's time for me to recap my week in Instagram photos;) Linking up with Jeannett!

My birthday cake my mom made for me:) The Pillsbury strawberry icing is the very best!!!

I received my necklace in the mail a day before my birthday:) It was good that it happened that way since it iced last weekend. The mail couldn't make it!

Straightened my hair out Monday night. Trying to think of something different I can do with the color or the bangs to keep myself from cutting it off!! Any ideas?? I'm game for suggestions!

We went snow tubing with our church Tuesday. We always stop at the same McDonald's. They have this huge play set! Somehow, us teenagers lose our maturity and jump in with the little kids;)

Back to the resolutions.....:/

Did I mention we have become caretakers of this little sparrow?? My brother found him in the woods with a broken wing. He refuses to have his wing wrapped up! So we have put him in a bird cage beside my parakeet and tried to keep him still. We've tried to wrap his wing several times and every time he manages to hop out of our hands and dash through the house. He is super fast for such a little guy!!!

Abigail gave me these for my birthday right after I broke my old pair! She knows me well:0

I don't care for this album,but that's the beautiful thing about itunes. You can buy just one song:) This is one of the only 3 gospel songs on this CD. I loved the song so I went ahead and bought it! :)

Wednesday night was a windy one! This was before church. Fixing my hair was pointless that night because as soon as I walked out the door, WHOOSH!

One of my best friends gave me these lovelies for my birthday:)
