A drive through the country!

If you read the last post,I promised to explain why I was driving and taking pictures all day yesterday.
I have am in a blogging rut.
I love blogging and I am quite attached to this little corner of the creativity, but I am a terrible slacker! I say I will post, and I don't. So! I am trying to get back on the ball. Yesterday, I loaded up my camera, tripod, and music, and I hit the road. I drove all over the country side looking for things to photograph! It was fun, scary, and interesting. I had my mace(pepper spray) with me,but I didn't really want to have to use it. Not that I live in a rough area, but you can never be too careful right?

I jumped back into my car after taking these pictures and somehow I set my panic alarm off. I glance in my side view mirror and what do I see? A SHERIFF.  He was headed up to the elementary school to do his rounds, when he spotted this girl, stealing a car sitting in a car with the alarm blasting. He stopped and asked if I was ok. I assured him that I had just set my alarm off by accident(all the while it is still blasting away.) He drove away while I tried to figure out how to turn the darn thing off!

I want this house and it is for sale! It has the beautiful barn(below) sitting right across from it!

I hope you all have a great Thursday!

As Promised......My Senior Pictures:)

In case you have been wondering where I've been, I have been at the beach all this week.:) So I haven't had access to the computer I needed to do a post. Our Wifi is connected to my Mom's laptop so we can't take it with us any more.:/ I have plenty of beach pictures to post, but I promised to post my senior pictures first.:)
Me and my Mom took all these ourselves with my new camera. It took several different photo shoots on several different days, but I think I like how they turned out.:)

These were taken above my house at a buffalo farm! We had no idea until recently that there were buffalo above us!:o Sadly, they didn't show themselves that particular day, or I would have grabbed some pics!

I really wish I hadn't pulled my hair back in all of these!:/ The wind was blowing and I think I made it a habit.

These were some of my favorites!:)

Let me know what you think!
I'm open to suggestions!

Camera Collecting

A while back I bought an old Polaroid from an antique shop in town. I found the one in the pictures below and an even older version for extremely cheap! My intention was not to use them, but to display them and use them for props. I believe  I have a hobby now;) I love collecting cameras. All different kinds! Polaroids aren't collectibles yet,but when they do become collectibles I'll hopefully have a good start!

Anyway, I did a small Photo shoot with this one and I finally got around to posting the pictures;)
Enjoy!

What I Wore-Stripes and Scarves

Well,I'm back! I know I have been totally MIA for the past month several weeks. Life has been quite crazy around the house and at work. We just needed to get through the Christmas/New Years craziness. I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and a happy New Year! I know I certainly did:) So many blessings and happy moments were shared in this Christmas. It wasn't so about the gifts and the food(ugh working off Christmas pounds) but it was about the birth of our Savior! It was about family and friends. I got the blessing of seeing my grandfather, whom we prayed for for years to receive Christ and he now is a new convert, say the blessing over Christmas meal. No one asked him, he just commenced to praying before anyone could blink an eye. In his prayer he said,"Thank you for the meal and the one who got up early to fix it.(grandma) Thank you for all the things you gave us this year and for everything you'll give us next year. Amen." I could have cried it was so sweet. Praise the Lord!
This was meant to be an outfit post, but I just wanted to share that;) Anyways, it took me forever to post this because something is wrong with my uploader on blogger. It wont let me upload straight from my computer anymore! So I had to upload from Picasa. Anyone else having trouble?? If so please let me know!

On to the outfit.....
My sweater and scarf were both Christmas gifts. The sweater from Aby and the scarf from another dear friend:)
This shot was a hard one and I never could focus on my nails, but this what I got. Lol

:) Have a nice Wednesday!

A Family Christmas Greeting!

I was privileged to take our family Christmas card photos today! I wanted to share them with all my lovely followers! We took them on our back steps with some of the same props from my sister's photo shoot. Enjoy!

 My parents are so sweet:)

My brother is forcing Tabby to pose....it didn't really work haha.
My dad had just stuck out his tongue at the camera. I hate that the camera didn't catch that moment, but this was the aftermath;)
Merry Christmas!!!
