Our Christmas tree! We got to get a real one this year:) We've got soooo many ornaments! They have accumulated over the years. There is something about a tree with homemade ornaments and things you've had forever that means so much more than the trees with every ornament matching the ribbons and ones that have no sentimental value.
When I saw the Barbie and the Nutcracker movie, I have always thought of this ornament as the ornament that Clara hangs on her tree.
No tree is complete without something to top it with. We have always topped ours with this angel as long as I can remember. What do you top your tree with?
I had my sister pose for these pics;) mostly because peeking and shaking presents is what she does best at this time of year!
What is it Hannah????
These cute snowmen are a part of our home at Christmas time;) soo cute!
This is actually a piggy bank. On the end of the bed it says," Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse."

Ahhh Christmas cookies! We are going to make some Gingerbread cookies tomorrow! I'll upload pics;) What have you baked this season?
Christmas is my favorite time of year! Cookies, family, friends, presents, candles, ham,Christmas trees,Christmas music, and most of all the Savior of the World. This time of year should be the time when people are the happiest. How can they be happy if they don't know the Christ? Do they really even know what they are celebrating? Jesus is the reason for the season. Without Him, there would be no Christmas, there would be no Calvary, and there would be no hope. Jesus came into this world to bring a Light in this dark place. He came to die to give give us life. All we have to do is acknowledge that we are a sinner, ask Him to forgive us and ask Him to save us. Why would anyone want to reject that? Its a free gift! We will run over someone at the mall to get a sale item, we will trample people on black Friday to get a good deal,we will pepper spray someone to get a discount, and yet salvation is a free gift and people reject it. Why? Because they are afraid to change our lives? Because they are so full of pride they can't see where there lives (and souls) are headed? Whatever your reason is for rejecting the Prince of Peace in your heart I hope and pray that you will take a moment and think,"is it worth it?" My pastor made the statement,"My worst day as a Christian is far better than my best day as a lost person." Romans 10:13 says,"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." All we have to do is ask. Wont you ask Christ to be Lord of your heart this Christmas? If you have been saved, I challenge you to count your blessings this Christmas. Think about all those who don't have money, food,or Christ. Prepare your heart for Christmas. Keep away from grudges and anger and a bad attitude. Determine in your heart that you will remember Jesus birth on this special day. Wish Christ a happy birthday! I wish you all a very merry and peaceful Christmas :D
